24 Hours Dim Sum Festival

Dim Sum Festival at Kemang is famous for being a 24 Hours restaurant serving late night nourishment for hungry club hoppers or nocturnal folks who like to stretch their evenings into the wee hours. Despite its name, this place not only serves a wide variety of dim sum, you can also find other things like Sushi & Tepanyaki, Robatayaki, Western food like pasta, pizza and steak, Chinese, Korean and even Mexican fares! There's something to satiate everyone's palate.

Sometime ago, I discovered Dim Sum Festival voucher on offer at disdus.com (my favourite site to hunt for dining vouchers). My bargain-hunter instinct kicked in and I hit the "purchase" button without second thought.

Surprisingly when we arrived at lunch time, some of the tables were already reserved, although at that moment the place wasn't exactly packed. Fortunately the place is quite spacious, stretching up to the 2nd floor which is always ready to be utilised if the first storey is packed.

The crew presented us a total of 3 menu books to choose from. Overwhelmed by the variety, I had to keep reminding myself to stick with the dim sum items. But I gave up in the end, as it was lunchtime and we needed something heavier. So we chose one soup and a pizza for sharing. The food here didn't taste extraordinary, even the dim sums tasted just so-so. I'd probably say that the choice is way too varied, resulting in lack of focus in the taste of the food. But oh well, when you're hungry at 3am, I guess anything goes.
