Remember that legendary scene from Breakfast at Tiffany's movie, where actor Audrey Hepburn was portrayed to have a croissant and coffee outside the window display of Tiffany & Co.'s on New York's Fifth Avenue? Well, imagine if that croissant is replaced by Croissant French Toast like this instead...
Amber Chocolate Bar at Senopati quite recently launched its All-Day-Breakfast menu, which means now you can enjoy your Croissant (french toast) and coffee like Audrey Hepburn did in the movie. But instead of staring at the Tiffany & Co.'s jewelry display, you can stare at the delectable sweet 'gems' on display at Amber's. And of course, you can dress up to the nines here, just like the classic icon did!
If you recall my earlier blog post on
Amber before it was open to public, I've shown you in pictures, the beautiful corners inside the 3 story tall building. So, here are some more of the shots I captured there. I'll never get bored of taking pictures here, especially love the 2nd floor, The Library, which is a galore of books with a very diverse range of topics. I wonder if people actually go to the shelves to pick a book to read, I did it anyway, albeit only to look at the pictures inside...

I’ve been a breakfast person way since before I started writing a blog and while my breakfast menu has evolved from traditional 'kueh' to cheap fried donuts to noodles, rice, etc, to healthier options which I call #BreakfastBonanza, I can never say no to a good plate of pancakes or fluffy omellette...

The one-page long Breakfast menu at Amber at a glance features classic western breakfast items, such as eggs-based dishes, toast, pancakes and waffles. But there are a few twists such as Chia Pudding and Croissant French Toast, which caught my attention. In my personal opinion, the price tags for these dishes are quite reasonable too, considering this is at Senopati, with none fetching more than IDR 95,000.

A special mention should be dedicated to the Croissant French Toast, which also happens to be my favourite number of all the breakfast dishes that we tried. The croissant itself was perfectly buttery and crusty yet soft inside and the butterscotch apple fillings made it unlike the boring french toast toppings found elsewhere. Definitely yum!
