Double Six Beach, in Seminyak, Bali recently welcomed the newest addition of luxury property. The legendary Double Six Club (located right next to Cocoon Beach Club, which also belong to the same owners), closed down a few years ago to make way for a brand new concept.

After being cocooned by scaffoldings and construction barriers, Double Six Club finally completed its transformation to become a fully grown 'butterfly', the Double Six Luxury Hotel - Seminyak. If you pay enough attention to the subtle details, you'll notice butterfly imprints around the massive 5 floors property, as a symbolism of the fully transformed property.
"Welcome to Double Six Hotel Seminyak!", said the Hotel Manager, who greeted us at the opulent yet clean lobby. We didn't need to linger long at the lobby as the check in has been completed inside the hotel's white airport transfer APV. I was then escorted into my room #109, it was a Deluxe Suite with Ocean View located on the Ground Floor.
As if the name alone is not enough to indicate the awesomeness of the room, I'll let my photos & video show you what I mean.
Deluxe Suite Direct Pool Access (Ocean View)
Deluxe Suite with Ocean View is a 100sqm suite on the ground floor, which is literally a stone's throw away from the 120m long swimming pool. My favourite part about this room? I can open the glass door that leads to the porch and listen to the sound of the waves crashing at the beach outside, while enjoying the comfort of my cozy king sized bed.

And another exciting part of the room: the massive bathroom, equipped with a standalone bath-tub and a flat screen TV, a separate rain shower and toilet units, wastafel for him and for her and a lounger in between.

The butler would come to your room to assist with the check in as well as pour you the Double Six Signature Welcome Drink, a refreshing yet naughty drink of sugarcane slush ice, pineapple juice & mint leaves. Welcome Drink never seem so inviting!

Acqua Perla Spa
Feel like burning some calories? Head to Acqua Perla Spa, where there's a gym with certified personal instructors who are qualified to train you in yoga, pilates, and to shape your body. If you feel like pampering yourself, the spa offer a wide range of treatments to rejuvenate the body.
The Hydrotherapy treatment is a treatment that is unique to Acqua Perla, in which, guests are to walk through a series of water-based treatment in an enclosed environment, each parts offer different water temperature and pressure. Yes, you'll be soaked wet, but they'll prepare a bathing suit for you if you opt for this treatment.

The Restaurant: Seminyak Italian
Seminyak Italian Restaurant by Robert Marchetti, an experienced restaurateur who hails from Australia and is consulting for the F&B concept for Double Six among his many businesses. I had lunch and breakfast at Seminyak Italian Restaurant, so I'm going to share in details about the the food in the upcoming post ya.

Double Six Rooftop
Double Six Rooftop, the name of the rooftop bar sprawling on top of the entire hotel area, was still work in progress at the time of my visit. It will be officially open on Sunday, 17 August 2014 (see the invitation flyer below). In case you're wondering, the party IS open for everyone (seriously!!!). Even only half-done, I can already tell you that the Rooftop venue is going to be spectacular! Amazing view, sexy al fresco VIP lounges overlooking the beach and the sea, a mini indoor theater, are among other cool amenities ready to grace the bar.

If you're in Bali on the 17th August, I strongly suggest you to come and enjoy the what's gonna be a rockin awesome party at the rooftop bar. And for those who come before 5PM, you'll even enjoy a cocktail, compliments of the house!
