Love the green terrace here! |
Parc19's interior and decor is nothing short of lovable, with all wooden and vintage elements, interlaced with modern simple furniture as well as raw stained cement floor throughout the area. As you step through the main entrance, you'll enter this big indoor hall, which look like this:
And then if you walk all the way to the end, you'll enter this backyard lounge...
Keep walking and you'll reach this terrace, at the side of the main building...
Parc19 serves an internatioal menu, with Asian and Western dishes and favourites, such as steak, rice, pasta, brunch food, salad, soup, burgers and sandwiches, pizza, light bites and dessert. It is a bistro after all, so do not expect fancy fusion or molecular food here. Basically, the food is not something you can't find anywhere else, but at least, having this type of menu, they could cater to all sorts of crowd, Asians, Westerners, tourists, kids, young adults, elderlies, etc.
When I came to Parc19, it was almost dinner time, on a Saturday afternoon. So, I decided to start the evening with a glass of one of the signature dessert cocktail, the Toblerone Chocotini (infused vanilla vodka with chocolate, cacao white and baileys).

Oh, one of us was quite random and wanted to try the Breakfast items, a smoothie and Eggs Benedict, so these were what we ordered:
Berry Blast - soy bean milk, banana, strawberry. blueberry and oatmeal smoothies
Berry Blast Smoothies IDR 35,000 |
Norwegian Eggs Benedict - poached eggs served on toasted English muffin, layered with Norwegian Smoked Salmon, topped with Hollandaise sauce, served with breakfast potatoes.
Norwegian Eggs Benedict IDR 95,000 |
Now, come to the main course, we shared the Oriental Duck Rice Bowl (supposedly also one of the favourites here). It was a slab of boneless roast duck, sitting on top of rice, with vegetables in soya gravy and served in claypot.
Oriental Duck Rice Bowl IDR 100,000 |
Nutella Rolled Puff - rolled puff pastry filled with Nutella, served with homemade salted cream caramel sorbet in single espresso. Name me a person who does not love Nutella, and I would love to meet that person to see if his/her brain is functioning properly. As the (boring) old saying goes, "Nutella never goes wrong". Be careful when biting at the rolls, because the molten Nutella might drip down from the other end of the roll.
Nutella Rolled Puff IDR 65,000 |
To be brutally honest, the food and drinks were not bad at all. But the ones that we tried didn't leave a strong impression to make me desire more, or to return anytime soon (due to its distance from my home). Good thing that Parc19 opens relatively early to serve breakfast, at 8 AM daily, including weekends. Parc 19, who plays host to various parties almost every week, actually makes a cosy hangout, especially to unwind and chill, listen to concerts / live music performances.
Open Hours:
Weekdays: 8 AM - 12 midnight (daily)
Weekends: 8 AM - late (subject to crowd)
