Extraordinary Italian Feast at Publik Markette!

This post may be published just in the nick of time, but hey there's still time to try and experience the extraordinary Italian Taste that's currently ongoing at Publik Markette, "Lo Straordinario Gusto Italiano".

So, during the 2 weeks long Italian promotion, Publik Markette served up classic Italian dishes (with Publik's twist of course) covering the regional styles from Tuscany to Mediterranean Sea - Sicily, as well as Wine Sale & Italian Cocktails, and even Pasta Cooking Class for Mothers and their children.

It has been a little over a year since Publik Markette was first open and back then, the alfresco dining section was not open yet. But now that it has...the place is just perfect for airy and casual lunch, still inside the shopping mall, open air, but somewhat still private as it's surrounded by tall potted hedge trees.

Perfect spot for a little secret rendezvous

The interior is also pleasantly styled and I just love to take pictures of it, especially with such good lighting...

But the main star would be of course, the Food Gallery, with menu changed daily, but especially for this Italian weeks, there are a few regular Italian dishes that you could expect such as White Fish Puttanesca with Rosemary Potatoes, Crispy Porchetta with Peperonata & Salsa Verde, Chicken & Eggplant Parmigiana, Lasagna, Pizza and of course Pasta. But of these that I tried, my personal favourite is the Linguine with Farmer's (Pork) Sausage, mushrooms and generous parmesan shavings. Ismaya Group always do their pastas right, that I must concede. It's so delicious & rich, that I felt a little guilty for enjoying it too much!
