Lippo Mall Kemang (especially its Avenue of Stars) is filled with so many new and interesting restaurants, I always find it very hard to make up my mind as to where to dine at this mall. One weekend though, I decided to try out CLASSIFIED, an All-day-dining kind of restaurant, which is run by The Duck King Group in Indonesia. I was curious about this place, apparently it has gained so much popularity in Hong Kong, where it first came to existence, that today there are 9 outlets spread across the densely populated city. That is a very impressive record, considering that Classified only opened in 2006 and within time span of 7 years or so, it already expands to a total of 10 outlets in 2 countries.
So I did my research (as always) before visiting a new place, and Classified, back in HK is famed for the wide selection of boutique wines, gourmet coffees, specialty cheeses and handmade breads it offers. i'm impressed, as artisan cheese is stuff of rarity in Indonesia. But Classified remains true to its brand, so even the restaurant in Indonesia, is replete with a walk-in, glass-walled cheese room where they store the gourmet cheeses, as well as a tall wooden racks where the wines are stacked up for sale.

The food offered in the Jakarta is not 100% copy of its HK older siblings, but there are several local twists made by the local chefs. I notice that the menu also heavily features classic breakfast items with several uniquely CLASSIFIED healthy items like Gourmet Granola and Classified Muesli.
Since Christmas was just around the corner, there's a lineup of Special Holiday Menu by CLASSIFIED's local chefs from Appetizer to Dessert. Of the tonnes of food we devoured, I'd personally recommend anyone to have the Pistachio Spaghetti, Risotto Cake with Creamy Saffron Sauce, and the Linguine with seared scallops, black truffles and chestnut cream. Basically if you want the safe, foolproof option, just order anything off the Favourites menu. Alright, no more words, I'm going to let my photos tell the rest of the story already!
